Six Sigma Green Belt Training
HAADI is pleased to announce Lean Six Sigma Green Belt® Certification Preparation course. Six Sigma Green Belt training provides participants with enhanced problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) model. Six Sigma Green Belt certification helps the employee serve as a trained team member within his or her function-specific area of the organization. This focus allows the Green Belt to work on small, carefully defined Six Sigma projects, requiring less than a Black Belt’s full-time commitment to Six Sigma throughout the organization.
The Green Belt has two primary tasks: first, to help successfully deploy Six Sigma techniques, and second, to lead small-scale improvement projects within their respective areas. During the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training you will learn how to use many of the Six Sigma problem-solving methods and statistical tools to contribute to the success of your organization.
The first principle of Lean Six Sigma is: Delight your customers with speed and quality. The second principle says: Improve process flow and speed. Lean Six Sigma emphasizes that speed is directly tied to excellence.
Audience
- Production & process professionals
- Quality assurance leaders
- Manufacturing executives
- Individuals seeking in-depth knowledge in Six Sigma methodology
Learning Objectives
Whether in healthcare, finance, manufacturing, government, or any other type of service or product based industry, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training is ideal for anyone looking to get the most out of their career.
The DMAIC project methodology has five phases:
- Define the problem, the voice of the customer, and the project goals, specifically. Use Lean concepts to define process issues.
- Measure key aspects of the current process and collect relevant data. Calcultate process capability & understand Measurement System Analysis.
- Analyze the data to investigate and verify cause-and-effect relationships. Understand X sifting. Determine what the relationships are, and attempt to ensure that all factors have been considered. Seek out root cause of the defect under investigation. Apply hypothesis testing on normal and non-normal data.
- Improve or optimize the current process based upon data analysis using techniques such as design of experiments, poka yoke or mistake proofing, and standard work to create a new, future state process. Use regression analysis and Design of Experiements to improve the process. Set up pilot runs to establish process capability.
- Control the future state process to ensure that any deviations from target are corrected before they result in defects. Control systems are implemented such as statistical process control, production boards, and Lean - Kaizen visual workplaces and the process is continuously monitored.
